With her Studio located in Salem, Oregon, Lindsay with LiveJoy Photography is one of Salem Oregon’s premier Newborn, Maternity and Baby photographer and has been serving the greater Portland area for over 11 years.
Lindsay has a passion for capturing newborn and baby’s first moments in her peaceful, calming studio. Along with the experience that one should expect from a Newborn Baby Photographer, you can expect a wonderful experience from your very first email.

Types of Photography Services I Provide

Newborn
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled before baby is 2 weeks old, but this is always flexible if you have an older baby. Please reach out with questions!
Newborn Photoshoots are done exclusively in my studio in Salem, Oregon, and I frequently welcome clients from the greater Portland area.

Baby
Baby Milestone Sessions are typically scheduled when baby is around 6 Months and 1 Year, but we can do it anytime their first year, and as often as you want!
All Baby Sessions are offered in studio, and I provide everything we need for those sessions.
1 Year Sessions may also be done outdoors, depending on time of year and preference.

Maternity
Maternity Sessions are typically scheduled around weeks 32-35 in case baby comes early.
They are offered both in studio, or outdoor depending on time of year, or preference.
**Maternity Booking Fee ($200) is waived when also booking a Newborn Photoshoot**

Family
Family Sessions are scheduled during the months of June-October only, and are for immediate family members.
We will capture your family’s love and joy, while you play in the beautiful light that Oregon has to offer!
Family Photoshoots are offered outdoors at locations in and around Salem.

HOW DOES A PHOTOSHOOT WITH ME WORK?

Get Booked
All sessions require a non-refundable booking fee in order to get booked. Digitals and Products purchased separately.
7-10 Days following your session you will be sent a proofing gallery of un-edited images where you will choose your images and pay for your choice of Collection. (Collections vary depending on type of session)
Approximately 1-2 weeks after choosing your collection, you will be sent a download link of your edited and fully retouched images.

Session Time
Prior to your session, I will have you fill out a questionnaire where you can let me know any specific colors, props, backdrops, etc. that you would like to see for your session! This is a great time to also let me know any specific poses/images that are most important to you.
Every Session is completely thought through and planned in advance to ensure our time together is efficient and well organized.
Embarking on a photoshoot journey with me guarantees a blend of joy and comfort, as my utmost aim is to create an environment where everyone can authentically shine and feel at ease.

Gallery Proofs
Just a quick 7-10 days after your session, I will send you a proofing gallery of all your images, where you will choose the photos that you absolutely love and want me to edit.
You Will Choose And Pay For Your Collection At This Time.

Photos are Ready
After I receive your order, I will begin working on the images you chose, and will create stunning lifetime memories for you and your family.
You will receive your final fully edited images 1-2 weeks after you make your choice of Collection via a convenient download link.
You will also have the option to order prints and products at that time.
Your cherished memories are now preserved, destined to be treasured for a lifetime.

Lindsay Blackman, owner of LiveJoy Photography, is an award winning Newborn Baby Photographer located in Salem, Oregon.
For the past 11 years she has photographed over 700 newborns, and also offers Mentoring & Training for other aspiring photographers.
She has twin boys, (now toddlers!) and they keep her laughing and on her toes everyday. She know what its like to be a new exhausted parent, and uses this knowledge to make your time with her as easy and enjoyable as possible.
She offers Newborn Baby Photography, Baby Milestone Photography, Maternity Photography & Family Photography Sessions.
Clients typically book 2-3 months in advance to ensure a spot in her schedule.
