While those first few weeks are exhausting, I don’t want you to forget all their perfect newborn details. I don’t want you to forget how they scrunched up their little faces when they cry, or how they seemingly melted into your chest when you held them, their tiny little squeaking sounds, or how it was possibly to have the softest head of hair imaginable. The images I create will take you right back to those moments with your tiny baby.

Choosing Your Photographer is So Important.

I have been photographing newborns for 11 years, and have worked with over 700 newborns. I have a beautiful studio located in Salem, Oregon to welcome you and baby to. You and your baby are in the perfect hands with me. I have the expertise and professionalism necessary for parents to entrust their brand new baby to.

When Are Newborn Photoshoots Typically Done?

  • Newborn Photography Sessions are typically done when baby is between 6-14 days old. But there is always flexibility with that if mama/baby need more time!

Where Is Your Studio Located?

  • My Newborn Studio is located in Salem, Oregon. I frequently welcome clients from Portland and surrounding areas as well.

Since Babies Arrive On Their Own Schedule, How Does Scheduling Work?

  • I plan for this! How scheduling works is I get your session reserved on my calendar tentatively by your due date, but we wait till baby is actually born to schedule the date of your session. This allows for baby to come early, or come late no problem!

The Newborn Photoshoot Experience

  • 1. Get Booked

    Newborn Sessions are reserved by your tentative due date. We will schedule the date of your actual session after baby arrives.

    All sessions require a non-refundable booking fee in order to get booked.

    The Newborn Photography Booking Fee is $250. This is to reserve your due date in my schedule. Digitals and Products will be purchased separately via Collections.

    Your Newborn Collection will be chosen and paid after you see your proofing gallery 7-10 days following your session.

  • 2. Session Time

    Newborn Sessions are offered in studio only, and start at 10am.

    Sessions typically last 2-3 hours long.

    You will fill out a questionnaire prior to your session to let me know any colors/props/poses you would like to see included.

    I Provide Everything We Need For Your Session!

    You do not need to bring anything for baby other than feeding items.

    Sibling, Parent, and/or Family images are included at no additional cost.

  • 3. Choose Your Images

    7-10 Days following your session you will be sent a proofing gallery of un-edited images where you will choose your images and pay for your digital collection.

    Approximately 1-2 weeks after choosing your images, you will be sent a download link of your fully edited and retouched images.

    This is where all the magic comes in. You will also have the option of purchasing prints and products at this point.

    A print release is included with every session.
